This morning, 3 finger tips, 1 pipette, and my poor Penmanship were all sacrificed to De Atramentis Document Black.
A Smug DillWhat happened? How could your Pilot Penmanship pen (which I assume was what you were referring to) be "sacrificed" to the ink?
LizEFI'm being melodramatic. :) This ink tends to dry on the nib and that clogs things up enough that I have to get a damp cotton bud and wipe the dried stuff off before it writes well again. Oddly, this only seems to be a problem when doing stop-and-go type "writing" (aka doing a logic puzzle on crappy paper). If I'm writing words continuously, it doesn't seem to have a problem. In short, this is a poor ink for doing puzzles! :D
LizEFI'm also a bit worried about how hard it will be to clean out - fortunately, Super Sonicator is waiting to come to the rescue. ;)
Covid19 has not eased up. Now facing possible furlough.
Visconti Blue almost gone. UV lightbulb received so I can now review Noodler's Blue Ghost! :D
Fountain pens make me happy, writing with one of them is like having a conversation with a friend.
Worried for the future, no certainty.Cannot remember what a vacation was like and no prospects for things to get better.
I know all none of you reading this will be thrilled to know I got a new logic puzzle book with the same paper as the current one, so I've still got the same absorbent paper to continue my ink testing. PS: Currently on R&K Solferino.
LizEFPPS: I also got a new L. E. Modesitt, Jr. book, so I have to go away now. I'll be back when I'm done with it. :D

Parker Classic With Blue Parker Cartridge
Kobe #15 Maiko Green is in my Penmanship at the moment, looking very naturey. ;)
Selector, not collector
Inked up Rohrer & Klingner Blau-Schwarz this morning! Is it too dark for an EF nib? Tune in on 31 July for review #31! :D
Inked up Robert Oster Honey Bee this morning! Tune in at the end of July to see if it's legible in a Japanese EF nib!
