This Destino al Siglo box from Arturo Fuente Cigars is truly unusual. It is made to resemble a book and is finished in gloss orange tones with discrete gold lettering. Inside the lid, a black velvety lining suggested to me the direction I should go in altering the box to hold pens.
 
I chose to varnish the exposed wood of the box, then add dividers keyed to that, with black felt lining. Because of the uncommon aspect ratio of the box, I laid out dividers for five pens, each compartment about seven inches long, plus a 2 1/2 by 5 inch storage area for pen-related items. The result blends the original use of the box seamlessly with the repurposed use. I hope you like what I’ve done.
 
The box measures 12 inches by 7 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches. It has a sturdy clasp to keep it closed. I would normally fit a foam pad to the underside of a box, but I have not in this case because of the nice finish. I can fit foam “feet” on request of the purchaser at no additional charge.

The Flor de las Antillas boxes are always popular, perhaps because they combine a definite “cigar” style with sturdy wood construction and a nice latch.  This is one of the larger models, which has been repurposed to hold nine pens.
 
The box measures 9 inches by 7 inches by 2 inches.  Inside, I’ve varnished bare wood surfaces and fitted a striking red lining, with nine individual cradles to hold nine pens, each pen up to 6 3/8 inches long. Underneath, I’ve affixed a 2mm thick foam pad to inhibit sliding and protect your surfaces.

FPN #1. Eversharp Skyline full size "Gold Award" set. This is the ringed pattern and all gold filled caps and barrels. The pen has a gold filled dome and being a wartime set, the pencil has a maroon colored plastic nozzle. There is a bump mark on the dome (which is not too noticeable and one small bump mark on the barrel. The pencil has some extra leads inside. The back of the pen cap lip is marked "1/10 14K Y.G.F., which is a very thick gold layer. The nib is a very smooth writing Extra Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 5 1/4 inches or 13.4 cm. The condition of the set is Excellent. *NOTE* In the photo of the pen with the cap off, you might notice a dull spot. It was shellac that I have since removed. The writing sample is a bit inconsistent because of the watery Sheaffer's Washable Blue ink I used.

 FPN 2. circa 1930's Sheaffer's oversize Lifetime, White Dot fountain pen in Black. This is a late flat top with a later clip, section, feed, etc. The lever is held in with a "C" shaped wire keeper, like the 30's Balance pens. There is no brassing on the trim that I could see. These later Sheaffer's flat tops are harder to find than the 1920's pens. The nib is a smooth writing Extra Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 5 5/16 inches or 13.5 cm. I noted the date in my writing sample as 1932, but after I thought about it more, I think the date would be more like 1937, by the style of the feed and section. The condition of the pen is Excellent.

FPN 3. 1946 Parker Vacumatic Major in black. There is no brassing on the clip or cap band. The barrel imprint is deep with raised edges. The clear barrel segments have light ambering. The threads on the filler unit bushing is missing the anodized coating. The nib is a very smooth writing Fine or Medium 14K, with a bit of flex. Capped the pen measure 5 inches or 12.7 cm.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail. I also ship to other countries by Priority
Mail. I can also ship to other countries by Express International Mail,
if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be

This is a custom fountain pen made from Conway Stewart material.
It is new, used once for a test, so that everything comes into place. The section is from the same material as the pen. It has a steel Fine Bock nib ground to cursive italic. 
I have smoothened and adjusted the flow. It is a large light pen, similar in
dimension to Montblanc 149. It has the right balance in hand, 
writes great, and the material is just beautiful. It has a converter. It does not post. It has superb material and is excellent.

An early French production Parker 75 in the gold filled Diamant (Diamond) pattern, c1968. The diamant pattern is bolder than the lined grid and particularly sparkles in the light. Diamant is is one of the less commonly found 75 designs and this is early production. 
 
The pen pre-dates Parker’s marking the 75 with a date code but the years of manufacture can be approximated fairly accurately: French manufacture began in 1968 and the pen still has the flat tassies and the “0” on the nib angle gauge, which means it will have been made between 1968 and 1971.  The cap has the Parker imprint on the front together with Made in France and the 20 micron gold fill mark.
The cap tassie has a nicely stylized “A” engraved. 
 
The nib is an French 18k medium and the pen comes complete with the original converter.
 
 
CONDITION:  very good; surface marks from use but no brassing , the pen looks very good. The nib gauge originally had gold plate over the steel and a lot of this has worn off.

Superbly built vintage German piston filler with 14C semiflex F.
Hard rubber piston knob and cap jewel, the rest of the pen is made from celluloid.  Ink window has ambered, but it is still transparent. The pen have an original rubber piston seal and it works as it should. Some superficial scratches and using signs, but nothing serious.
