Being too lazy to build a light tent I just experimented around with a tube made of white paper, the light comming into the kitchen through one window and a D70 fitted with a 105 macro... at full stop.

Since I started in this vast FP world, it was Delta the make that made me feel the pleasure of writing and aso admiring their artwork. They do not only put their efforts into the design, materials, but also on creating a very nice bunch of personalized nibs for their FP's. This was the subject of this experiment...

enjoy...

20th anniversary
Dolcevita Oversize
Dolcevita large

Indigenous people Maasai
Indigenous people Inuit
Indigenous people Ainu

Venezia
Cutta Reale
Joaquin Rodrigo

I find every one is an artwork by itself and at the same time they are there to write smoothly and give real pleasure to the eye and to the hand... Other makes use to repeat the same design, no matter the look of the rest of the pen...

The method sure works well, Jopen. Wonderful pictures!

Thanks Roger... I promise that in a near future I will build a propper light tent, it makes life easier. Wit this method light changes dramatically depending on the clouds travelling between the sun and the tent smile.gif and changes have to be compensated continuously ...

Oh wow! Great pics, Jopen!

Could you show off the complete pens as well? This makes me want to see much more....

Warm regards, Wim

Oh, such beautiful nibs... (Drool)

I really enjoy how Delta takes their limited editions pens and makes their nibs special and "Limited" also. Too often you find a great looking LE only to see that the nib is one of the general stock nibs. MB seems to make "LE" nibs to go with their LE pens also.

Yes.. but price is unlimited... blush.gif

Now I have my light tent working and first trials show very promising results... I will see what Deltas have not been reviewed and will make an effort to post some reviews on them.

Here is just a sample of today's trials. A Delta Venezia...
Enjoy smile.gif9

Very nice, I love my recent Delta purchase

Thanks to all very nice comments, it always encourages one to build crazy things and getting results out of them. I had quite a fight with the white balance wallbash.gif

And yes, Wim's was earlier in his avatar, but do not worry, I may change it in some time. I have an idea but not enough time to materialize it...

Ah.. and Dolce Vitas... always nice, but not easy to get 100% of em in the pictures. Probably they will be last in the reports...

Spendid pictures. As others, I too am eagerly awaiting the reviews (which reminds me, I have quite a few that I need to eventually get around to doing).
Jopen
I just posted the third Delta review (Segovia, 2xAinu and Joaquin Rodrigo). There are a lot of pictures, so depending upon connection speed it may take a while to load the page...

Enjoy! and review also yours (this is the hard part) roflmho.gif
