If anyone owns a CS Churchill and Parker standard "51" and can post a side by side comparison picture I would be quite grateful!

I'm thinking about a Churchill but do not have a local shop where I can hold one. I don't have any really large pens so I don't know exactly what I'm looking at with respect to how big they really are, but I have a couple "51"s so that is a decent benchmark.

Also, the local shop does have Pelikan 800 and maybe 1000's, plus there is a local MB boutique, so if the Churchill compares relatively to either of the Pelikans or an MB model that may also be a useful point of reference.

Thanks!

I think the Pelikan M1000 would be closer in size than the Parker 51. Or about, maybe just a bit thicker than the MB 149

Next to some pens for your reference :

the churchill is next to a MB149 Rossi, and a OMAS Paragon Blue Royale.
The blue stripe is Pelikan M800.

This is top to bottom:
Nebula Churchill, MB 146, Dani Trio Ban-ei ED, Dani Trio Densho Urushi ED.

Thanks KC! It looks like the Duro may be the better choice as that Churchill is one monster of a pen! Wow. I have relatively small hands so I imagine the Churchill is going to be a bit too large for me to use comfortably on a daily basis.

Not really, surprisingly, the Churchill feels really comfortable for my small hands.
It felt smaller than a MB149 because the section in longer and more tapered.

It is lighter than a M1000 and MB149 (Brass piston).

I think it is best if you can check it out in person.

QC on Churchill is inconsistent. So if you want a brand new one, it is worth it to buy from a nib master who would test it for flow adjustments.

Both of my Churchill needed professional flow adjustments. But when they write, they write really well.

Churchill is not big if you do not post. IIRC, unposted, Churchill is smaller than a Filcao Nobile and around the same size as a Pelikan 800.
