This is my lastest purchase, a Delta Dolce Vita fountain pen. This was more of a impulse buy based on looks. Has anyone had any experiences with Delta pens ? I have not heard much about them.

Hi BostonWIS,
Just look in the Fountain Pen Reviews Forum; there is a big review on the oversize model of this pen.
Generally, Deltas are great Italian made pens, IMO anyway. Especially the LEs are stunning. And they make a very, very nice factory stub...

HI, IMO as long as you want a firm nib, a Delta will be a wonderful pen! I love my Dolce Vita and would like to buy another one in medium. The nib is wonderfully smooth on my fine. the oversized DDV is also wonderful!!
Enjoy our pen. I think you got a really good one, and if you ever want to sell it you should have a market. JC

I too am looking at an OS Delta Dolce Vita but the money is the big thing!!!! I have a Delta parthenope and I find that the nibs are a bit on the springy side. Not flexible or a nail but a nice little spring to it. Great pens and they are made pretty well too.

Great Pens! I currently have 5 of them, 3 LEs. The fit, finish and performance has been great with them. All mine are really big pens, and very light for their size. Except for the Native American LE, which is pretty heavy, but very well balanced.
I discovered their nib exchange (Kudos to Dot at Yafa in California) and have their stub, OB and OM nibs, and love them. As TNS says, they're springy without being too stiff.
A Dolce Vita OS is definitely on my life list, but the price will hold me back for a while.
Congrats on a great new pen for you!!
