I'm just home from four days of r+r of which two were spent partially or fully hunting antique shops. I managed to pull off a sumgai on a jade sheaffer balance, full sized, in a box at one shop for five bucks. Another surprise was a nice Diamond Point with a flexible 14kt nib and a very cool stripe pattern. Much akin to vacs and striped balances, but this one goes at an angle across the barrel. Both have new sacs and are ready for action tomorrow morning. My last stop today netted me a green striped Majestic with a neat two tone super point New York nib and crystal clear visulated section. All tolled, including two other "parts" pens, about thirty bucks. I did, however, have to pass on a nice dealer display case for Esterbrook nibs. Even at a 25% discount, it was still more than double what I wanted to pay. Hated to leave it there, but at that price, I'm guessing it'll be there a while.

Hopefully some pics of these neat pens tomorrow, once I've shoveled through my backlog of stuff at work.
Best-
Brian
