Full Version: Can I put an M400 nib on an M200 body?

The size of both the body and the nib of the M200 and M400 seems identical, and I've even put an M400 OBB nib onto an M200 body and the threading seems identical.

The M400 oblique nibs are the best nibs I've ever tried, but I can't afford an M400. If I buy a M200 and an OBB M400 nib (which I can stretch to, just) am I going to experience any unforseen leakage problems or anything? I'm really not bothered about foregoing the extra gold on the body, but the M400 has an awsome nib which I'm desperate to own! drool.gif

If you put a M400 nib on a 200 body, basically what you get is a sort of 250 - plastic body and gold nib. THe 200-250-400 threads are identical.

What about on a 215? Can I change nibs on a 215 with a 400?
Are M100 nibs interchangable with any other model nibs??

Edited to clarify my questions.... ugh!
