I've come across a 51 aero with matching pencil. Light grey colour with Lustraloy cap. I would say 1950 ish. Perfect condition in hard case (like spectacles case).
What is this set roughly worth. It's in a "antique" shop and I don't want to pay too much.
All help appreciated.

From what I've seen on ebay recently, sets in excellent condition like this usually sell for $60- 100. I assume it is a Navy Gray and not the Dove Gray. Dove Gray would be more expensive and is a vacumatic color, unless some were produced in the UK or elsewhere. The Navy Grays are fairly common. A Dove Gray "never used" set sold for $91 recently. A Forest Green set (more valuable than a Navy Gray) sold for $94.
