What a fun ink! I got a fun package of misc. stuff from Swisher today (more in Writing Instruments Forum) and one of the items is the Blue Ghost.
Here's a scan:
Why do I need this ink? I don't know. Because it's there. It's a lot of fun!!!!!!

It's a small expensive bottle. The color? I forgot to mention this in my "review":
I put the ink in my brand new Kaweco Classic Clear Eydropper. It makes sense because it's easier to tell when you're out of ink. (How do you tell if you're out of invisible ink?

). On the other hand, it looks like a vial of urine.

Isn't Invisible Ink fun? I get a kick out of mine. I feel like Martin Landau or Roger Moore every time I use it. I mean it doesn't have a wide array of applications, but Invisible Ink is just so sneaky that it brings out the inner Harriet the Spy in all of us. I hope it catches on, it's so wonderfully whimsical. Say, do you ever use it on birthday cards or random items like that?

I just got my first bottle today. Ooooh, I'll have to send my niece a letter written with it, and tell her to ask her mom for a black light

I bought a bottle, and my 11 year old daughter and I exchange "secret" correspondence. We got black light bulbs at Walmart, and two black light LED flashlights at Spencer Gifts.

Blue ghost practical application.
I thought when I send documents out for review and signature I can put a mark on each page. Then I can tell if a page has been removed and replaced without reading the whole thing.

Yes I have trust issue. Comes from 30 years in law enforcement dealing with shady and unstable people.

No offense but I couldn't see the sample you posted in the scan. Either my eyes are shot, or you're pulling an obvious joke. But I understand what Blue Ghost looks like as I have been to the Noodler's web page. Does anybody else have serious uses that they put Blue Ghost to? I'd like to think Invis. Ink has greater purposes than to be whimsy's child.

Maybe you can mix it with visible inks as a colour enhancer? I'm sure Eternal Luxury Blue has some Blue Ghost in it. (see the colour under blacklight).

it works great for detecting invisible ink.

ROFL!!!!! Oh man, that's hilarious!! How perfect!
Now on the Triwizard Pen you got, that's a fun idea, but I have to tell you that is one of my favorite daily writers. It just feels really nice and Noodler's Cayenne seems the PERFECT fit for it.

Does Blue Ghost disappear immediately on paper, or is it at least a little bit visible until it dries?

It looks clear right on paper. I can write a word or two by tracing words on paper (although it is hard to dot Is or cross Ts). Best to write under a black light.

If only Blue Ghost weren't so expensive (sorry Mr. Tardif, I do agree with your reasons for the price), it would also be a great ink dilutor.
This is because ink is more than water and dye, and too much dilution of those other ingredients (for viscosity, flow, pH control, prevention of colonization by living things, and maybe other purposes too) changes the performance of the ink.
Hey, there's an idea

! A product called, "dilutor for ink mixing," or is that what I'd get by adding a drop of Tryphon's "Ink Safe" to water

?

The only way to tell that you're writing anything is to write with a black light. I found out that the joke, "how do you tell when you run out of invisible ink?" is no joke. It's a good thing I've got it in a clear pen.

One day at the Noodler's Ink plant, Nathan Tardiff mistakenly put some liquid uranium in a bottle of Blue Ghost to be shipped off to Bill. He was an ordinary pen collector until after decanting his pen with the tainted ink, he exposed the nib to a Black Light. In the resulting chemical reaction, he was fused with the chemical properties of the ink to become Nibs, the Pen-Man. Now he is invisible to the naked eye until hit with black light. He is resistant to harsh industrial abrasives and household cleaners. If he is ever dehydrated, he can be restored to his old consistency with a thimbleful of water. Dilution does not affect his potency, nor can he be copied. In addition to this he acquired an exaggeration of his pen collecting abilities. He can read a copy of Penna from 100 yards, photograph a nib in pure darkness, and he can feel the quality of a nib straight through the box. What will become of our hero in coming months? Who knows? Stay tuned for the adventures of Nibs, the Pen-Man.

Hmm, I don't think your unlimited supply is permanent on cellulose. And you can smell the presence, even when you can't see it. I'm sure, the Noodler's Ghost contains less hormones, too.

This stuff sounds like an excellent additive to be mixed with other inks.
You could mix it with non-waterproof inks and you could verify or recover what was written by shining a UV lamp on it.
It's expensive stuff though so I guess i'll wait until I hit the lottery to buy some.
