Hi,

i was wondering if anyone has a recipe for a color similar to Noodler's Forest Green or Marine Green, or the best ratio combination of green and black? I bought PR Spearmint but it's a bit to bright for me, so I was planning to buy Noodlers Forest green and Marine Green, but thought about getting a PR Mixing kit.

I currently have Private Reserve Spearmint, Pelikan Brilliant Black and Noodler'sBrown. I'm thinking there's a best ratio of the black and green to create a deep, dark green.

Thanks!
Jack

I'm not sure what the Spearmint looks like. It's hard to pinpoint an amount, but I would take a small measured amount of your green and add drops of black until you get there. That will give you an idea on how to mix a larger sample.

For a Forest green, I'd probably add a bit of Magenta before darkening with black.
