At the moment, do any of you have inky fingers?

Eew, I didn't notice.. I have some mysterious green ink on my fingernail and some red and blue ink on my middle finger. I guess that's all, but a few days ago I had orange crush spilled all over my fingers. blush.gif

Every once in a while, my index and middle fingers get ink on them, but..

My fingers are often inky unsure.gif.

Actually I just finished taking the pumice stone to my fingers to remove the Visconti Turquois I spilled on them from my pelikan... It feels so good to get my fingers inked.

At times I can resemble a Smurf. Just a slight smudge right now, but I'm working on it. wink.gif

I had some black under a fingernail the other day.
Ink Stained Wretch
Well, um. I am an ink stained wretch.

I did have some ink on my fingers earlier, but I was able to wash it off. Having at least a bit of ink on my fingers at some time during the day is not uncommon.

Thank God I read this post BEFORE I filled my pens. No, my fingers are not inky at the moment. Five minutes from now...

Okay, reporting in again. Finished filling pens. Response is now, "yes." Over and out. Please continue discussion...

I am rarely inky, but I don't mind when I am. I once read of someone wearing their temporary tattoos with pride.

I think my fingers are ink magnets. They are always inky. Right now I am sporting some JH Rose Cyclamen (from a speedball c-5 nib) and some Sheaffer Brown (the old stuff) from refilling a Sheaffer Imperial. Never thought of using a pumice stone to get the mess removed. I'm off to give that a try now...

I have considered using disposable gloves to fill up pens. Somehow I always find a way to ink my fingers. Specially before important meetings. I do not have any ink spots today, however.

You mean it isn't obligatory laugh.gif

I have some turquoise ink on my middle finger (where you grip the pen) and my knuckles, but not sure how in the world it got there.

Eeew, what's that on my thumb? blink.gif blink.gif

I'm always inky when I fill pens, I can't figure out why. wallbash.gif blush.gif

Good thing I was not using my Retro or I would have been drenched in ink.

Uhhh . . . yep! Right now, a touch of Gulfstream blue on my right index finger (from refilling my VP) and a tiny dot of Tropical Blue on my left index finger (from inking a new pen with this new ink biggrin.gif ).
