I have a Centennial that I really like, and I wonder whether I should get my next Duofold in the International size, simply for variety and perhaps it may be easier to use for long writing sessions. For comparison, below is a picture that shows both sizes, presumably to scale. But if you look at that picture, the International looks like a slim stick in comparison to the Centennial. While I wouldn't mind a slightly thinner grip section, the difference between the two sizes seems rather significant. For those who have Duofolds in both sizes, can you comment on how different they feel in the hand and how different the writing experience is?

Many thanks in advance.

I've never owned a Duofold Centennial, but I can confirm the fact that the Duofold International is a somewhat narrow pen, (particularly the section.) Here's a photo of a Duofold International next to a Pelikan m605:

At the narrowest point of the section, the Duofold is about 9 mm in diameter, while the Pelikan is about 10 mm. It doesn't sound like much, but the Pelikan definitely feels a bit wider.

Hope that's helpful. smile.gif

I have two Centennials and one International. I'd only buy the Centennial version, as it looks and feels much better, especially for longer writing sessions. The International seems too narrow compared to most of my other pens and I have small hands.
