Hi!

Few days ago I've bought Pelikan brown ink. Today I decided to give it a try, but.. well.. something's wrong - when I shake the bottle there's audible, quiet rattling in it. I haven't noticed anything similar with my other inks.

Is it normal? huh.gif Or should I exchange it in the shop?

You're sure it's a rattle and not the sound of ink sloshing around under a little bit of air at the top of the bottle?

Yes, I am sure. It sounds like there's a little bit of hard plastic floating at the bottom. I'm curious what it might be... Hmm, maybe I'll filter it to find out? smile.gif

It'd have to be a pretty dense piece of plastic to rattle while submerged in water like that. A broken off piece of the glass bottle might be able to rattle though.

If you have steel or plastic tweezers you might fish around to see if you can grab anything on the bottom of that bottle of ink. Good luck!
