Where did the name Tanzanite come from? And what does Lierre Sauvage mean?

Tanzanite is a gemstone - which the color resembles.

Lierre Sauvage is french for Wild Ivy

Here's an example. It looks more like DC Supershow Blue

, but the purple highlights do resemble Tanzanite.
