Hello CS people! I thought this area would be the best place to ask. I've spied two very sweet looking vintage CSs. One is a 466 and the other is a 45 - both in the same price range, nib size, condition, and I love the color of each...my question is, since I have no in depth knowledge of the models, do one of these have an advantage/better reputation over the other?

TIA biggrin.gif

Hi Kelly,

Go for the #45. It should have a Duro 40 nib which is far superior to the nib in the 466.
Plus you should have a single narrow cap band, the 466 is plain I think.
That's what I would do anyway.

Or you could go for my lovely #47 for sale which has a great duro 40 nib plus wide cap band. laugh.gif

Just something else to pick your brain with Gary (would have PMd but I'm unsure if you can access that while you'retraveling right now!)...or anyone else who might know.

What about a 466 (medium) vs. 75 (fine)? I'm thinking the 75 but???? I'm totally drool.gif over both!! smile.gif9
