I finally won somethuing! I have been entering contests of one sort or another for years with the same results- nada, nothing, zip, you lose, etc. I filled out the crossword puzzle in the Oct-Nov 2005 issue of Stylus and submitted it for another rejection. I really enjoy crosswords, so I really didn't mind whether I won or lost

Imagine my surprise when I got a call from Stylus. I won! What did I win? I had forgotten what the prize was for this contest. I called the sponsors, Empire Pens and talked to Steve and MaryAnn over a two day period, and decided on a Signum Nova with fine nib in a Cinnamon resin:



This is a gorgeous pen, pictures don't do it justice. It glows in the right light. It wrires every bit as good as it looks too. I loaded it up with PR Orange Crush and it's been in my pocket ever since I got it. I've had it about a month, but I've been busy, this is the first real chance I've had to share.

I picked up the latest issue of Stylus yesterday at Paradise Pen. There is an announcement of the contest winner on page 10.

I don't mean to gloat, I'm just excited about winning something as nice as the Nova. I have to thank the great folks at Stylus for having the contest, and Empire Pen for sponsoring it.

Southpaw, Handlebar did an excellent review of the pen. I don't know how to link to other pages yet, but it is in the new review index(great idea!). It really is an excellent pen, especially for free. I have another Signum, an Orione, with 18K nib that is also a nice pen. I love the wheel design on the nibs:
