I would not have thought this scripting would work, just decorating some descenders but I really like it!

i like it. i haven't considered curly, loopy things in my letters. probably not practical for the "swift note-taking" handwriting, but for nice and fun things, it looks great!

No, it is one of the easter eggs from the JK Rowling site. Doodles or scribblings, she calls them, to generate back story and ideas while writing her books. She's got the best easter eggs I've ever seen on a site. All high quality scans. I'd give an arm and a leg to go through all her scribblings! They are all so detailed! But I was really captured by the lettering on this one. I mean, that really looks fun, just to have a bit of decoration and I just never would have thought of that. I haven't really seen it elsewhere either.
