I occassionally use my Townsend RB but find that the Cross refills last about a week and get rather pricey after awhile. I either use them up or they dry up before I use them.

Are there any other RB/gel refills out there that fit the Townsend RB? I know the Uniball Signo 207's don't. Perhaps the G2?

Thanks in advance

I'm also hoping to hear an answer here.

My rollerball Selectip pens have highlighter or ballpoint refils 'cos the rollerball and fibre-tip refils are a bit of a let-down.

I am not aware of any alternative. However, I have run across some discounted refills on the 'bay auction website. I picked up my MB rollerball refills there for a considerably reduced price and they work just great.

Hey folks;

Thanks for the response. I posted this and forgot all about it (I tend to do this - must be age - biggrin.gif

I've been meaning to scoff one of my wife's G2's (she scoffed them from me to begin with) and check to see if the refills fit. I'll let you know.

Cross RB refills are great and I used to get the 2 pack for 6 bucks at the local Office Depot but they closed that down and Staples is a long ways to go at lunch time. Although next time I'm at our local B&M will check into the BP refill. Hmm maybe I'll go today at lunch.

It would be nice if the G2 refills fit but have my doubts. I know the Signo 207's don't fit.

The nice thing about the jumbo BP refill is you don't have to worry about ink drying out if you leave the cap off.

I'll let you know. Thanks for the responses.

That's one the great things 'bout Cross's value -- you can find RB refills almost anywhere. cool.gif

G2's don't fit either - just for the record.
