wow either my monitor is seriously out of wack or Azure comes out much differently with different pens since the color I see when writing and your review.

Quite possibly!!! This is using a Medium nib and I notice that the ink is much darker with a broader nib, but I am sure you already know that. Believe it or not I even checked the images on another calibrated monitor, the computer right next to mine.

As Kurt mentions, this looks rather different from my copy of Ottoman Azure. I think I started doing a review a long time ago, but never finished it. If I do get a chance, I'll post a copy up here, too, to show the colour difference. Apparently this is one of the most difficult colours to make, and batches may look quite different from each other.

I just love this ink. And so does my 1.1 italic nibbed Etruria d'Inverno .

TNS - yet another great ink review! NOA is a wonderful color, but I find it to be a bit slow drying for this leftie and have to be careful or I'll smear it.

This ink does dry quicker than DC Blue. Nice looking ink and it is hard to describe what this ink looks like in plain words.

I happen to have the same pen (OMAS paragon fullsize with medium nib). It seems to be that Aurara black and most of the PR inks are way too fast/wet for this pen. The pen is literally skidding on paper. On the hand, inks like Aurora and waterman blue are somewhat dry. How do you compare these inks in paragon?

I bought this ink as I loved the colour when I saw it dipped in a pen shop and scibbled on white paper. I have used this ink simulataneously in a Schaffeur calligraphy, Omas 360 medium nib, MB146 med nib, Parker Duofold Centennial med nib and Montegrappa Extra med nib, and have noted the variation in colour just from one bottle. I concluded it comes down to how wet the line is you pen produces. The Schaffeur produced the least ink flow and a lovely colour. The Parker was a bit wetter and just as consistent. The Omas and the Montegrappa produce very wet lines and produce a much darker colour. The MOntegrappa had the most variabliaty as the nib is the most flexible.
