A little personal experience...I've used fountain pens almost exclusively for over thirty years and count three as 'daily users' at this time. Most frequently I carry a Waterman Charleston, sometimes an Aurora Ipsilon Deluxe, And a modern CS 58. I usually like fine points but the 58 had such a nice wet line that it acted like most everyone elses medium so I called Luxury Brands and asked if CS offered a nib exchange program and they were willing to exchange the nib for only the cost of shipping even though the pen was not purchased there.I got an extra fine and it is a little wetter than the Charleston's fine and considerably wetter than the Aurora's.It ts still extremely smooth and wet.Thought I'd throw this out as I've seen some talk about this subject and thought it might help..
