I have a Waterman Carene and a Waterman Charleston that need nib work. Both have been dropped on the nibs. The Charleston is sprung and the Carene has a wrinkle (wave in the nib) but still writes , but VERY wet (too much so).
I need to send them in to be worked on. Can I get addresses from you guys? Also, an approximate cost (I won't hold you to it, as I know you'll need to see them first) just so I am in the ballpark of cost? Thanks so much. Johnny

Hi, I'm not a nibmeister, but I can point you to two of the best:

Richard Binder, http://www.richardspens.com/ , click on Repair and Restoration in red letters on the left sidebar

John Mottishaw, http://nibs.com/repairs.html

Both of these fine artisans have waiting periods measured in months, but they do fantastic work.

I've used them both. Email them, preferably with photos of the damaged nibs so they can give you repair estimates.

There are other folks who work on nibs as well, these are two of the best.

There's Dillo. He's a member here, and he doesn't have a website. unsure.gif
