Hi everyone.

The Pearl is the newest pen from Edison.

It is an eyedropper filler, but it could be a cartridge pen, or a converter pen with a short converter.

There are options to choose from with this pen....

Ink window, blind cap with an ink window, and there will be a clip option very soon.

The pricing structure breaks down like this....

$225 - baseline pen with standard steel nib
$50 - add ink window
$30 - add blind cap with ink window
$30 - add clip

Click Here to learn more about this pen.

Thanks.

Brian at Edison

Any reason this pen can't be done in green or red ebonite?

Nope. Just haven't done one yet! Any material will work.

That's what I thought (based on comments on your website) but just wanted to make sure. Trying to picture it in red ebonite.

I wonder if hubby will just look at me and laugh. Most likely I'll get, "You want this or a laptop?" tongue.gif

Beautiful work.

Can you take a picture of one of these pens in the company of some other "famous" pens (PelM200/M600/M800, MB146/149,Sailor 1911(m), etc.)?
Pippin60
Beautiful, silly question but does the cap post?

The web page says, "yes"

Any news on the type of clips available?
bgray
Yes, the cap does post.

One of my next versions will be in red ebonite. I'm thinking about an amber lucite for the ink window. Should be cool.

I have mocked up the same clip that I use on the Herald, and it's real sharp.

I'm going to be making the pen with that clip.

I should have it done tomorrow or Tuesday.

I'll be looking for the red ebonite.

Me too!

I'm super excited to get to work on this pen.

I really think that the red/black ebonite will look phenomenal with an amber-colored ink window.

I'll be in the shop on Tuesday!

I'm currently still at my brothers, after being stranded on my way to the Toronto show.

Radiator work commences tomorrow.

I'll post some comparison pics when I get back on Tuesday.

If I forget, send me a quick message.

I am starting to save up for a red/black ebonite Pearl right . . . now!

The Pearl is finally available when I've surpassed my pen budget for the month 3 times over... I'll have to scrounge up some money from somewhere smile.gif

Brian, do the Bock nibs come in rhodium plated also or just gold? If not, can you do the rhodination?

At this point no...

But...(shhhh)

I'm about to have my own German-made nib with my logo stamped on it.

I'm not sure yet, but I should have them in both gold, and white gold.

Like I said , keep it between you and I.

In all seriousness, I should have my own custom-made German gold nib with my logo by the end of this month
