Hi Folks
I have a Mont Blanc Traveller FP, I have been told that this is just a MB 149 with a diiferent filling system, i.e. cartidge rather than the twist filler.
Is this correct?
Kind regards

The 147 is the size of the 146 (LeGrand), i. e. a little smaller than the 149.

As stated the 147 is the exact same dimensions as the 146 which is a smaller version of the 149.
The 147 is a mini cartridge filling system only, although the design does allow you to store two in the pen body, I am a fan of the 147 and have just sold one standard version but will hang on to my 147 in vermeil for as long as I can.

Oh and your avatar is one of my truly all time favourite pens, the mighty Edson, which I would put against any other high end pen. I have two one standard blue and one LE silver. These pens are the standard by which I judge all others. It surprises me just how far short of 'adequate' some expensive pens do fall.
Enjoy the 147.
Regards
Ian.

Can you take out the cartridge system and add a converter if you want?

The body of 147 is designed to hold two mini cartridges within itself - one as active feed and the other for storage.

That's why I sold my OMAS with a similar system. Don't like to be tied to only carts. And you need to have two!
