I really have looked and not just throwing this out there. Looking to see if this is the right cap for this pen.

It's a 44, but wondering if it was a special edition or someone replace a cap along the way. More pictures on flickr if interested.

Thanks, in advance, you guys have been a great resource for my Parker addiction.

That is a Mustard Parker 51 Double Jewel with an Empire Cap... it is the correct cap for that pen....
Do you own the pen?? ... if so you have a real jewel on your hands...

Hi,

I was just about to be clever and say that, but beaten to it by a real expert.

By the way Happy birthday Tom.

Thank you! Yes, it's mine, I am a serious pen junkie. (www.goodpens.blogspot.com) has a few of my other Parkers and other nonsense). This pen fills and writes perfectly. This one came from my wife's grandmother in a handshake (literally) I know that will make you guys sick to hear, but it's true. I will try to get a picture up of the entire collection, but I appreciate it.

Yes, noting it should have a 14k clip and bottom ring (both hallmarked), too.
