I am hoping someone can offer some suggestions on a particular type of notebook. I'm looking for a hardbound notebook that is larger than a composition notebook. If said notebook comes with blank pages I would be doubly happy. I'm essentially looking for something larger than a composition notebook, but that design suits me well. I just need more spare per a page.
Thanks!

I do not know where you are, but Canteo is great, and it comes blank. It is semi hardbound, though.
Black n Red is good, but it is lined.
Moleskine is hardbound and unlined, I believe comes slightly larger than a composition book, but paper quality is variable.
I do not know if Clairefontaine comes blank, but if it does that would be great, too.
Hope my semi-answering your question helps a little.

If you want something larger than composition, check out this thread on the Kunst & Papier journals
here.I thought I wanted to go larger, ordered two journals, received them and realized the minute I opened the parcel, they are too big for me. In fact, I'm probably going to try to trade them for something smaller.

Clairefontaine makes hardbound 11 3/4" X 8 1/4" (297 x 210 mm) ruled notebooks.

I should say, I'm looking for a notebook that is also comprable in price. I definitely don't want Moleskine paper with that bleed through. I want to spend something close to $3 for around 100 pages and $7 for around 200 pages. I was looking at Blueline journals, but someone reviewed their notebooks and was remarked how the paper was mediocore.
Thanks!

For the love of god, where did you get a Canteo?

I find that my Moleskine bleeds much more than my Clairefontaine.
But the Clairtefontaine is smoother, glossier than the Moleskine, so that in the end I prefer the Moleskine, even if it costs 2.5 times as much.

I contacted Rolf. the head person for distribution in the US.
See
this thread, about post #6. I do not know if the offer is still good, but he was a pleasure to deal with when I contacted him.
