Hi, working in the architectural field, I am very fond of the Rotring brand. It is a relationship that started back in college in the mid 90's when bulk of drawings were done by hand.

Anyhow, besides CADD I'm still in love with my pens, in addition of several Lamy Safaris FP and MP I own a Fountain Rotring 600 series about 4-5 yrs old and a newer Rotring Core FP.

Maybe it's my luck but I have never been able to use any of these two pens due to variable (interrupts) ink flow. I probably have ruined nibs in an desperate attempt to make it work. I figure these should work just fine with new nibs right?

Also, I don't know if there's any type of prep work for new pens? The Lamys started working wonderfully since day one...
