I have decided that the time has come to get myself a Nakaya. I have an idea of what the ideal one would look like, as follows:

Type Cigar or writer
Size Long or portable or decapod
Colour Blackish- red Kuro Tamenuri
Nib F of XF, Flexy

The only must-have is the nib, I could be persuaded on all other criteria.

So, if you have fallen out of love with your Nakaya, or found a better one or for any other reason you are willing to sell yours (or one of yours!), please get in touch and let's do a deal!

Nakayas are "cold dead hands pens". But keep trying...

What's so hot about them, Kurt? Soki

Do a search on the site and there are a few threads saying how wonderful they are. Each pen is handmade and the nib is tested and tuned to fit your hand ( by the use of a questionnaire sent in with the order).

I am hoping that the end of October will let me speak more on this issue.

Their uniqueness doesn't really hit you until you hold one in the hand. They write well, have an interesting array of nibs and age beautifully.
