I bought my last Moleskine two years ago, and as everybody knows, the Moleskine's paper was not very FP-friendly. Yesterday I bought a plain notebook. I've been surprised : I now can write without any problems on the paper. I tested several nibs and several inks, it's always OK.
Unfortunately it's always very expensive !

Hi. Can you please advise as to the Moleskine model and/or size here? My Moleskin notebooks are model (or paper type) "volant", 6.5 x 10 cm. That's a great size for my T-shirt pockets but the paper is too smooth or glossy for most of my pens. Still, it's better my Clairefontaine velouté notebooks.

Mike,
This is a notebook with plain pages, pocket size 9x14 cm, 192 pages, rigid cover.

Thank, Jim, I'll have to try that out. Maybe it (and/or others) remain the "same" notebooks, just with a "new" paper (?).
Maybe even more expensive.
But maybe less bleeding.
