As some of you may know I have been wanting to get a few pens Rhodium plated. (I am not the biggest fan of yellow gold)
So, my number has finally been called, but now Im torn... Which pens should I send out?

I have been wanting a 149 with silver trim for the longest time, so Im pretty sure that one is going. But Im not sure on the other one.

I had wanted to do my Dostoevsky for the longest time, but know Im considering the Dumas, since I just got one. On the Dostoevsky, I would do it all including the nib and the Dumas, I would do all but the nib. I like two tone nibs, but with the Dost, I think all rhodium, but a solid gold nib would be silly...

In a perfect world I would do all three, but I dont think my pocket book could handle it...

Cheers!

Hi Bryant.. you know, personally.. I would never touch or plate a SE or LE that is a given. From the rest, all the pens that I would want with a platinum trim are already offered in that, i.e. all Meisterstucks and Bohemes, Starwalkers all.. the only one that isn't is the 149 and I think a 149 with a 'white' finish will look a bit frankestienish to me smile.gif Its beauty is in its original conception I do not know if it would still look as grand otherwise..

On the other hand, I loved the rose gold of my boheme marron compared to the yellow gold.. a 149 in rose gold now that is something I would like to see smile.gif

I was thinking about a "Louis XIV" in silver by removing the gold plating ...
