Estie ad from 1960 smile.gif

How nice to see wit in advertising. In fact, given that this is for a pen, and the ad deliberately avoids handwriting, you might even call this an early example of the post-modern swerve.

This is a 1960 ad from the Tech - the MIT student newspaper.
So it was late in the game smile.gif There are 5 more for Esterbrooks. I am working with Wimg to make all the whole "collection" available to FPN members.

Enjoy another one.

Hi Antonios,

Thank you for the kind words, but you are doing the hard work here! I didn't do a whole lot, other than split the graphics in a simple way, 5 minutes work... biggrin.gif.

So people at FPN, it is really Antonios you need to thank for these fantastic ads, the research that went with it, and the great comments and descriptions. Just check out some of the other forums where Antonios posted more of this truly historical stuff!

Great work, Antonios, and much appreciated!

Warm regards, Wim
