So what is your favorite model of Pelikan model not in the Souveraan line or based upon the Souveraan line i.e.: City Series, Toledo, Limited Edition

These are what I think is a fairly complete poll of all of the non standard line of Pelikans, so what is your favorite non standard line of Pelikans?

I said 'other', because my favourite is the 'Go'.

Don't forget the stylish modern Pelikan Celebry (5xx series) either!

Hi,

I like the Level. smile.gif

It holds plenty of ink, and I can fill it up with out getting ink on my hands. smile.gif

Celebry.

IMHO, one of Pelikan's most under-rated lines, especially for those who like relatively thin metal pens (think Targa). Also nice because it's available at a number of price points and finishes, with both steel and gold nibs.

I like the Level 65. It holds plenty of ink, is good value for money, and is available with fine, medium, and broad nibs. It has no step, which makes it comfortable to hold.

You forgot something else too - the Pelikan Celebry range. I recently bought a Pelikan Celebry 580 and it is most definitely my favourite non-Souveran Pelikan.

In fact, I think I like it as much (if not more) than my M1000 & M620. It is a cartridge/converter filler rather than a piston filler but hey so what.

My wife got me an Epoch 360 Saturday and I'm enjoying it.

I really like the Go! Are there any non-souveran Pelikans currently for sale that are piston fillers?

where's the e-motion line? they're great writers, if on the chunky side. smile.gif

isn't the e-motion pens from Faber Castell?

I'm partial to the Epoch series. Nice pens...highly under-rated in my opinion. And contrary to popular belief, they ARE converter-friendly. I keep meaning to take pictures of this, but I just boxed up my last converter and haven't had a chance to pick another one up.

Hoping for pictures soon.

I also really like the Epoch. In fact, I've got one in my pocket this very minute. The nib is smooth and it writes whenever I need it to (or want it to, really, since sometimes I just write for the heck of it). The weight is excellent and the pen fits my hand extremely well, both in terms of length and girth.

For the price, I think it's hard to beat the Epoch.

I'll have to vote for the Celebry also. I've got a model 590 with a green marbled finish that has a nice weight (I like em on the heavy side) writes quite nicely and has a beautiful nib. Doesn't hurt that it's also very stylish IMHO.

I like the Celebry enough that I bought 2 more this week. A 570 from a FPN member and a 580 from eBay.

They fit the pen loops in my notebooks.

The 150 - 250 series are not Souverans. Are you counting those as being a 'based upon' line?
