My Montblanc knowledge is lacking but from my brief look around the 'net, this is the Montblanc Meisterstuck Solitaire 'Pure Silver' Fountain pen, it comes with an 18kt gold medium nib. This pen has a solid sterling silver cap and barrel with a patter of engraved vertical lines, it bears the 925 hallmark. The silver has developed some tarnish from being kept in storage for so long (can be seen in the first photo), but this can be polished off easily with the aid of a polishing cloth and some silver polish. It still has the original store price tag on it indicating that it is product #05846 with a retail price of $1,200, back in 2004.
It is the same pen as shown at the following sites: Montgomery Stationery and London Luggage.
I have no idea where the box or papers are unfortunately but I can guarantee it is a genuine article, it was purchased at an official retailer. This pen fills via cartridge or converter (included) and measures 135mm capped, 119mm uncapped and 150mm posted. The cap screws on.
I would like US$498 shipped anywhere for this pen as is. From what I gather, this is a more than reasonable price for the pen but if my asking price is too high, feel free to let me know.
