I completely understand and somewhat agree (since I'm such an offender masef from time to time)
why Pendleton posted this post here.

I suspect he may have thought that alot of the higher browed FP elitest may poopah the "lowly" Estie
and that he'd find a kinder reception here with those of kindred spirit.

I've done the same type of post over on the Cross forum. So many get the slim classic Cross BP's stuck
in their brains and think that all Crossi are like that. That narrowmindedness leaves them ignorant of
just how nicely Cross FP's write (from the lowest priced ones all the way up...) along with A.T. Cross's most
exemplury customer service and warrenty policies. It's like, "no one would appreciate this post as much
as a Cross pen user would".

I suspect Pendleton felt the same way about his post, here.

Not to mention that, respectfully speaking, I'm also just not that concerned with minor sins of posting
ettiquette.
