Full Version: Very translucent ink?

Have you seen Pelikan Brilliant Red? It's almost totally clear, bright, see-through, transparent. Pity it's a red ink, so I can't use it in my "demonstrator" Pelikan M205 (for fear of staining) - though I know it would look great inside it.

Does anyone know of another very clear ink which won't stain my nice new pen?
Zoe
Pelikan (or their representatives) recommended today Aurora, Waterman and of course Pelikan inks. I have the Waterman Violet in a Pelikan and it does not seem to stain, nor does the Havana.

Thanks for the reply, but it's not non-staining inks I'm asking about, but specifically inks with unusual clarity.

J. Herbin Bleu Azur is reasonably transparent. I currently have it in my Visconti Van Gogh Crystal (a demo) and it looks nice. The other choice would be Noodler's Blue Ghost lticaptd.gif

I would use Sailor Yellow/Orange. Very translucent.
Titivillus
Delta yellow or one of the other yellow inks.
