Last Saturday I bought a new backpack for the office and emptied my old backpack. After I had rearranged the timer, my papers and the pencases in the new backpack a well known pencase came to my sight, filled with a pencil and my MB 144! I was looking for this pen for weeks, even months!

This pen was my biggest dissapointment (skipping and other issues) until I got myself an ultrasonic cleaner and gave it a last chance. Had the pen cleaned for some days and then it was gone. Now I was very curious about the performance and yes (!), the pen was writing immediatly

After loosing my wonderful B-nibbed Pelikan M400 in the mail some weeks ago the MB 144 seemed to feel sorry for me and resurfaced. At least I have not lost 2 pens during this summer!

Glad its back..... been there myself and what an awful gut feeling it is when one of your 'flock' wanders. Only lost one in action but had some go awol once in a while

now if my montblanc noblesse would only do the same... come out, come out, i know you're there somewhere!

Hmm... don't know how to say this as there is absolutely no criticism, admonishment and so forth meant....
... but I can't image that ever happening to me (well, maybe) because all of the pens I use are always (well, usually) in the same place: Optima Mini in my T-shirt pocket, M215 in my vest pocket, 146, two Duofolds, one 51 and my Charleston are all lying on my desk in front of me. If I ever lost one, I'd anticipate same immediately.
