I finally got my first writer edition and am very excited. I inked it for the first time yesterday and it is fantastic to write with. I am simply looking for things to write now. the weight feel size is perfect and it looks stunning. I was in a French restaurant on Saturday, after purchasing the pen and they had a quote from Bernad shaw on the menu."There is no sincerer love than the love of food". I looked at my wife and smiled. Then said it was simply meant to be..

Congratulation for your new pwn. It seems gorgeous. I did't see it live yet. From the pictures it seems huge... I was wondering if the first pen in the picture is the masterstuck 146?
shoppy
Hi Maoca, the first pen is a Mont Blanc Pens Platinum Line LeGrand Rollerball Pen. Not sure if that is a 146, the Bernad Shaw is a 146.

the Bernad Shaw is a 146.

Well to be exact the Shaw isnt a 146 but rather based on the 146 like most WE pens does.It has lots of the 146 basic chrectaristics but still it is a defferent pen.

Thank you for clarifying, I thought it was the same but glad to be corrected.

Yeh, its a good thing that MB doesn't make LE like some manufacturers do: slap on an overlay/ paint it another colour and call it an original. I love how MB goes through the effort designing something unique with a special nib (Oh those nibs... cloud9.gif )

Is the lacquer as blue green as in the pictures?

Oh so true.
Its obvious MB put a lot of thought, time and effort in trying to make something more then just the same model only with a different colour.
Another nice feature about many of MB LE pens is that they are piston filler and not CC fillers.

I can only think of five off the top of my head that aren't piston fillers: Tate, Kafka, Anniversary Boheme, Anniversary Starwalker, and Anniversary Red Black.
What do you have in mind?

I could add the Meisterstuck Classique 75th and 100 year anniversaries, Rouge et Noir replica , Friedrich II the Great, Bismark, Sakura 88 and 8, the 4 Eleents and 4 Seasons.
