Makie Pens
Dear FPN Members & Pen Enthusiasts,

Hello to everyone. Elephant & Coral has just joined FPN to share the topics on fountain pens and in particular maki-e pens. Elephant & Coral buys and sells unique maki-e pens and Montblanc pens (only unique ones) or pens with strong provenance. Chinese pens depending on makes, can be of interest.

Feel free to browse our official website http://www.elephant-coral.com and we are always looking forward to you visiting us throughout the year. Just say you are an FPN member!

Maybe not spam.

Just strange.

I don't think the message is spam.

Elephant & Coral is located near my office and I have visited them for the first time last week. The staff is very friendly. They have a range of very nice range of Namiki Maki-e pens, all out of my budget though. The Pilot Capless Purple LE pen that they are selling is reasonably priced, and I may go back this week to purchase it.

If you are visiting Singapore, you will have to visit this place.

Not spam but wrong forum I think. The shop is very nice and the staff very knowledgeable. Elephant & coral is strong in Malaysia & Singapore & I have bought quite a few items there.

I agree. The shop is very nice and the staff are friendly. Beside Singapore, it has also a strong foothold in Indonesia. The shop has quite a wide varieties of great looking pens, which are pretty rare. Well...as usual..great looking pens come with "great" prices as well... smile.gif

It was posted in three forums, and the one I responded to, it didn't belong there.

Yes, Elephant & Coral are indeed a real pen shop in S'pore, but real businesses can spam too.

The "spam"-ness doesn't lie just in the source but also in the approach.

Maybe if Elephant & Coral actually contributed productively to some of the maki-e discussions on this forums, there'd be less of a problem.

Strange website and I couldn't find a price anywhere.

This doesn't look like spam though the question arises whether this is the right forum or not.

Readymade suggested that the company participate in the Maki-e forum and share their knowledge. This would certainly make sense. Several people who are also dealers contribute their knowledge to the FPN site. It would appear to me that doing so is a way of establishing a presence in a very positive way.

I hope Elephant & Coral will take these suggestions positively and will add their thoughts to the FPN site.

Thus the three separate identical threads started at the same time, which is what made it look like spam.
