Hello,
While looking for a Christmas gift for a friend, I remembered my fascination with writing implements and particularly fountain pens. Needless to say I purchased a gift for the friend and one for myself. I now own three and am trying to control myself for awhile but find I continue to desire more fountain pens.
I have never owned a fountain pen before and find I am in love with the experience, the ink on paper, the sound of the nib on paper, all the different pens, colors, ink colors. How do you keep yourself in check?
Pens I have in order of acquisition:
Delta Solaris, M
Moore 72 A, Maniflex (not sure if F or M)
Pelikan M400, Honey, F

Hello and welcome to FPN! Glad you're here - great place to be as a FPNewbie. Soak up as much as you can and let us hear from you. It would be great to see a photo or two of your pens. Which one do you like the best (at least for now) and why? See you around.

What a great set of pens to start off with. How are you liking them?

The Moore, while quite beautiful - seems very small in my hand. It is apparently from the 40's - not sure if it was a ladies pen - or would there have been a childs pen? Sounds much louder on paper when compared to the Delta and the Pelikan.
But pleasantly loud. Do they call it singing?
I am torn between the Delta (M), using a Diamine Dark Brown - I absolutely love the color as it reminds of me old photographs - and the Pelikan (F) using Aurora Blue.
Both are very smooth writing and I like them for different reasons, but find I really enjoy writing with the Pelikan.
Primarily using the Delta in my journal and trying to break into using the Pelikan at work so I can use them both everyday.
