My "new" Sheaffer TD Triumph (forget which model -- triumph nib, plastic cap, white dot, 3/8" gold band) with Skrip Jet Black, Parker 21 with whatever was in it (just filled with water and wrote!), and a blue Snokel Sentinel with PR American blue (sample from Pear Tree).
The Sheaffer arrived yesterday -- got a new o-ring and sac.
I need more pen like I need to be kicked down the stairs!

Arggh, I am seized by desire for that pel 400.
Today it's the 360 with Lake Placid Blue, the Athens with R&K Alt Goldgrun, the Pel 150 with Purple Wampum, the Phileas F with FPN Galileo, and the Esterbrook with FPN Galileo + Noodler's Walnut.

Two today as well, a Parker 45 Flightier with Blue/Black Quink ink, and a Sheaffer Imperial Triumph with blue Skrip ink. A medium nib and fine nib respectively as I struggle with trying to decide which I like better.
I will be replacing the Sheaffer with a Pelikan M200 for my day to day pens when it arrives. And the Quink ink with Noodler’s Legal Lapis, again when it arrives.

I’m using my brand spanking new Pelikan M800 Blue/Black with an OBB nib straight from Germany. It's filled with Noodler's Turquoise (awesome color!) but it's much more finicky than my OB or my O3B nibs. If it's not exactly the right angle, then no ink for you! If it doesn't improve dramatically with a good rinse with some mild detergent, it's off to Chartpak.

Today I made journal entries in my Moleskine notebook, about 5, maybe 6 pages. I wrote driving directions to one of the major airports around the city, so that my son would make it in time to pick up his aunt.
My trusty, inexpensive, blue Waterman Phileaus is my primary pen; I write nearly everything with it, except when I want to remind myself what other pens feel like. At the moment I'm considering sending the pen to Waterman to replace the nib with a Fine nib. (the pen now has a medium nib)
I see so many folks here using such nice pens, but with my budget, the Waterman that I have is just about the top of my budget capabilities. Oh, how I would love to find an older pen in a shop somewhere, take it home and if I can, clean it up and make it useable. Sigh java script:emoticon('')

Using the delightful Dani Trio Tosca I just got from Winedoc -- what a great pen for $50!
Writes smoothly, reliably and it's pretty, too! Just plain old black ink in it.
Also took out one of my CS Dinkies (Flecked Autumn) that I haven't used in months. Started right up. Filled with red ink (PR Dakota Red, I think).

Banned? No, around here we have much worse punishments. If I were you, I'd lock all the doors and keep a good eye out as you can be expecting a visit from the MT guys to remove such a heretical instrument. They'll probably melt the gold down to make some improvements on the Babbage's turbo flux resonators.
Nice pen, btw - for a bp anyhow

Today's a Binderized kinda day:
Pelikan m800 with 0.8mm stub - Waterman Blue-black
Pelikan m215 with 0.8mm stub - Diamine Prussian Blue
Namiki VP with 0.6mm stub - Noodlers Squeteague
The m215 and VP nibs are new, and I never put the 800 down.

One of these days I'm going to brave a Binder cursive italic, but it's hard to pass on stubs. I do have a Deb Kinney CI coming soon, so that's exciting!

Today, in addition to
the "51", my Piquadro holds an early narrow-band black lacquer Parker Sonnet. I took this pen in trade from a client, and I replaced its steel nib with an 18K oblique BB that I reground to straighten it. This thing turns out to be a dandy pen for signing thermal credit-card receipts. I do have to warn the clerks, cos it's more than a little on the wet side...

Richard, I have a black lacquered, gold furniture Sonnet that you modified into a smooth stub nib. It's one of my all-time favorite pens.

Today, though, is a Pelikan day. My black m215 with a medium italic nib is filled with Waterman Florida Blue. Using a great pen with your favorite ink is a great way to brighten up a crazy work day.

M.B. 149 with some newly aquired Noodlers luxury blue ink....
Bulletproof eh ! ..... well thats as may be. Acid resisting ....... ok... Nuclear Blast will just have no effect on good old super Noodlers..
WHAT ABOUT NOT SMUDGING WHEN GETTING THE ODD SPLASH OF WATER ON IT THEN !!!!!!!

Dec 5 2006, 11:23 PM
Some of the Noodler's are absolutely resistant to any smudging with some water, and some have a component that will wash off and a bulletproof component that will not.
I gather Luxury Blue is in the latter category?

Today I'm using:
Pelikan m200 (Black), Binder 0.6mm stub (Diamine Prussian Blue)
Pelikan m200 (Green Marble), F nib (Private Reserve Sherwood Green)
Parker 51 Aero (Black), M nib (Noodler's Legal Lapis)
The PR is a beautiful, very Christmas-y green. Currently on sale at isellpens, FYI (no affiliation, just a satisfied re-re-repeat customer). I'm also very pleased the sale at Pear Tree Pens introduced me to Diamine inks: the Prussian Blue is the "softest" looking dark blue I've used yet (don't know how else to describe it).
