Haven't posted here for a while because I'm at my mother's house and only brought two pens and two bottles of ink. That said, today's selection are: Pelikan M200 (F) with Herbin Poussiere de Lune, Parker 51 (M) with Waterman Havana, and new Lamy Vista (M, will be ordering an F nib for it) with the Lamy Blue cartridge that came with it. For what it's worth, I don't find the Lamy Blue as offensive as many here seem to, perhaps because I'm not into blues, so a less vibrant one doesn't concern me.

I've been alternating lately between a Sheaffer Snorkel (Clipper, I think that's right) with Omas Blue and a Parker 51 Flighter with (I think) Waterman Florida Blue. (I've been on a blue kick...I've ordered some Noodler's Baystate Blue, if I can get FedEx to actually leave it at my door.)

Today I am using the following pens, all filled with Waterman Blue:

Pelikan M200 green marble with Binder F nib
Reform Calligraph with F nib
Phileas with F nib
Parker 45 with XF nib (sorry Perry)

I left my main tan pen pouch at my oldest son's house yesterday, when I dropped off my granddaughter after "Nana" and I took her shopping to spend the gift card we gave her for her ninth birthday the 20th of last month, so I had to grab some pens out of the drawer. I had forgotten how smooth the Pelikan, the Reform, and the Phileas are, and how fine that XF is on the 45.

Today at work my pens consisted of:

1. Montblanc William Faulkner medium nib with Private Reserve Lake Placid Blue ink;
2. 1949 Parker "51" Aerometric gold-filled cap/burgundy body medium nib with Noodler's Ottoman Azure ink;
3. Montblanc 149 broad nib with Private Reserve Copper Burst ink.

Today I am using my Lamy 2000 with Tulipe Noire (been journaling on my vacation for 2 weeks and still can't run it out of ink!!) PS the Lamy went up and down on air flights 8 times with out a hint of leakage!

Also using my sweet new pen from Lau Lau Woodworks in Honolulu, its made from Box Elder Burl and Hawaiian Curly Koa and is outfitted with a smooooth 14K two tone nib.

Don... I still haven't come up with a nice xf for my 45 yet! Maybe Susan will bring several to Dallas this year! Hope you are going!

Today I plan on using a Visconti Divina, maxie size, fine nib; Visconti Anniversary Voyager Demo, medium nib; and a Stipula Saturno medium nib. Will also carry a white Omas 360 ballpoint.

Pelikan M400 with 4001 Royal Blue
Sheaffer's Balance Full Size with EFnib(feather touch) with 4001 Black blue Today

I have been using a Montblanc 146 for the last few days.

Cost me $30 - due to a hairline running up from the base of the nib into the threads. Other than that there is nothing wrong with it - writes well, no leaks. However, the nib is a little broad for my liking so I will probably change shortly - perhaps to a s/steel Parker Vector which was providing good service when I last used it...
nkk
Today I am planning to use a Lamy Al-Star with CdA Amazon. I have to run it out of ink today so that I can trade the F nib for an EF.

Pens I use at home: Lamy 2000 for most of my journal writing and note taking from the books I read.
I also use my Lamy 2000 at work to write prescriptions, write drafts for lectures, and writing medical records.
This is my busiest pen nowadays.

I still carry my Rotring 700 in my bag just in case I need a back-up though I doubt that will happen as the 2000 carries a huge ink load.

During my free afternoons and weekends, I use my Lamy Vista as it is more rugged and its large clip allows me to put it in any pocket.

I'm probably inviting trouble when I asked someone to procure some Chinese FP's from Hong Kong. Those will likely upset my comfortable set up with my pens. headsmack.gif
Pen Nut
Odd thing that pen selection. Anyway todays weapon of choice is my Edson LE with Noodlers Baystate blue.
