This week, I have been mostly writing with a Lamy Safari with Noodler's Blue Ink.

I "have to" use my Namiki Vanishing Point at the office all week. But it's Saturday! Woo hoo! I get to write with my Conway Stewart Dandy (Private Reserve Midnight Blues), and my Pels 200 (PR Midnight Blues) and 605 (Noodler's Legal Lapis). Maybe the Namiki Falcon later on...

I started today out with two Parker "51"s, my black Aero, and a grey Vac. When I got home from work, I switched to the grey vac, and my "big Red". When I went to see my brother, he handed me my birthday present, which he couldn't wait to see me open. It was a Parker Sonnet, Sterling Cisele! So yeah, that one is inked up now smile.gif. Something tells me sentiment alone is going to put this one in permanent rotation...

A Montblanc Chopin (Medium nib) and a S.T. Dupont Fidelio.
JRodriguez
Today I used exclusively a MB 146 that Dillon stubbed for me, filled with Waterman black. The pen has really grown on me since his alteration.

I'm on vacation this week, and so most of my writing is going to be done with the Sheaffer 875 Balance with the tiny Binderized cursive italic nib that I use in my journal on weekends. It makes me exceedingly happy.
jpolaski

My handwriting pens in use every day (in order of preference):-

1. Pelikan 800 (B nib) with Pelikan Violet;
2. Parker Duofold International (M nib) with my own ink mix "Black Cherry 128";
3. Parker Golden Arrow (M nib) with Pelikan Brilliant Brown;

Other pens always on hand for special purposes:-

4. Sheaffer Targa (F nib) with blue Sheaffer cartridge for form filling;
5. Parker Vector (M nib) with blue Parker cartridge (always in my shirt pocket for when nothing else is at hand);
6. Parker Reflex (M nib) with Pelikan Brilliant Black for those occasions when I am compelled to fill in a form using black ink. (We have one legal place who insist on black and if their forms are filled out in any colour they send them back).

Just in case anyone is interested, my "Black Cherry 128" is a mix of Quink Red and Quink Washable Blue in the proportions of 12:8 which I mix using syringes from the chemist intended for giving medicines to children.

Today I am using:

Parker 45 (black barrel, chrome cap w/ rounded black "jewel") with a 14K F nib loaded with Noodler's The Sun Never Sets.
Pelikan M620 Piccadilly Circus with B loaded with Noodler's Iraqi Indigo.
Senator President with 18K M nib loaded with Noodler's Lexington Grey.
Parker 51 "SE" (black barrel) with an unknown nib loaded with Levanger's Cobalt Blue.

I think I am going to have to send the Parker 51 SE out for nib work, as it seems to be mighty scratchy/toothy when I write with it.

Today, surprisingly, I'm using a modern Parker 45. And it ain't as bad as I imagined. Purely bought for sentimental reasons*, as it was my first fountain pen (I think) 25 or so years ago.

- Mark

*Well, actually, there's a half-price sale of Parker pens at the Stationery shop next door, and I just can't help myself sometimes.

Today, it's my brushed chrome Waterman Expert II with Waterman black and my Montblanc Starwalker with Montblanc black. The Waterman's medium nib produces a line very similar to a stub. With that kind of character, it's fun to use it! The Starwalker is a Christmas present with a fine nib that faithfully handles every writing task I've asked from it.
