This week I put a beautiful steel patterned Parker 45 (shield pattern--harlequin?) back in use after mothballing it last year. It has a beautifully smooth fine steel nib. Dry-out resistance is pretty good--just a little extra nib pressure and it starts right up.

Levenger True Writer, still with the Baystate Blue. I've never been particularly happy with how my True Writer performs, but I have to admit that it writes better with the BSB than with any other ink I've put in it.

I kept bringing pens to work in my shirt pocket, and just putting them in my credenza drawer at night. So now there are
1/ Visconti Aida - Dupont Bleu Nuit (thanks to Punch for the ink)
2/ Bexley Poseidon - Waterman BB (terrific service by Dennis at Parkville Pens for the Poseidon)
3/ Lamy Persona - Omas? Diamine? Who knows? (Thanks Leigh for the pen swap)
4/ MB 149 - MB Bordeaux (an uncharacteristically non-blue ink)
5/ The 51s - Flighter with PRDCSSB, and DJ Vac with Waterman BB.
6/ Safari variants - Vista with Penman Sapphire, Al Star with Swisher Sequoia
And dat's da name of dat tune.

Now: my newly arrived Lunar Blue Taccia Staccato, f steel nib and Swisher's Glacier Blue. (After a flushing with water and a drop of ammonia, followed by a rinse in water and a bit of dish soap, this pen is writing perfectly.)
Thanks to Todd Nussbaum of Isellpens.com for getting this Staccato to me quickly and at such a good price. (No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.)
