Well, today, my new Visonti Gold Pont with a Fine nib, a knockout of a pen, but I really would like extra fine; Lamy 2000 with Extra Fine nib, which, again, really isn't Extra Fine, and my Omas Orange and Blue Bologna fine point, which IS an actual fine point to me.

I really want a Gold Point!!! I was wondering why they didn't add the white swirls to the cap?
Nice looking pen...!!

That was EXACTLY my question! But, I went to the Visconti website, and the Gold Points all have the amber(only) cap. I definitely wanted one with white in it! The pen is ok.............would I buy it again?? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....not so sure. But, where I pen-shop, they definitely allow exchanges within a reasonable amount of time, soooooooo....who knows? I really like that Omas Bologna, though!

I guess I'm not the only one who thinks that the white swirls should be on the cap!! It would look really nice with the swirls. Also imagine
if the swirls lined up when you cap the pen....HOT! I may just buy it for the gold color. Maybe I can train my brain not to process
the swirls on the barrel... hmm1.gif

It arrived this morming, a beautiful Sailor Sapporo Black/Rhodium with fine nib. It writes just as smoothly as I thought it would, and Fine it is! So far I have only tried it with the Blue Jentle ink cartdrige that came and I must say that it meets my expectations. A very fine line, not too wet not too dry, just perfect, and above all, smoooooth! Thanks Pam Braun, for a great shopping experience.

In the backpack: Lamy Safari, fine, Noodler's Legal Lapis for journaling and general writing.
In the shirt pocket: Pilot Birdie, medium, Noodler's Baystate Blue for calendar and incidentals. I love this pen/ink combination!
For italic writing practice: Parker 45, stub, Pelikan Blue-Black. The shade variation is great.

White Lamy Safari, filled with Lamy BB cartridge.

In anticipation of something to stipulate (offer letter), I'm going to stick exclusively to my Stipula DaVinci Infinity as long as is required. And maybe longer.

At the moment, I've got Noodler's Iraqi Indigo in it.

Since I ordered other-than-black inks yesterday, I looked through my pens to see which ones I would use with the new colors (probably the MB Boheme with the PR Midnight Blues) -- the anticipation!

Anyway -- dug out this Cross, I don't know, it's a slim rose-gold FP with a 14kt EF nib, and filled it with Pilot blue-black, thinking the while I didn't really like this pen... and lo and behold! What, 20 years later? I'm surprised. I like it! Overall, it isn't really my style, but I like it enough to use it until my other inks arrive and I get a coupla other pens into rotation.

(I'm still not over being able to say "pens in rotation" and know I don't have to explain.)
I am not a number
Stipula Duetto with 0.9mm Italic Titanium nib and FPN Galileo Manuscript Brown, also blue VP with a Richard Binder ItaliFine nib.

Plus Palladium Sheaffer Crest with homebrew dark blue.

And a Namiki Falcon Smooth Broad with PR Midnight Blues.

And a Stipula 22 Titanium Broad nib with FPN Dumas Tulipe Noir.

And a Waterman Carene Deluxe Medium with homebrew.

Yup, that's about it so far...
ethernautrix
I am also using:

MB StarWalker (XF)
Sheaffer Connaisseur (XF)
Pelikan Souveran M215 (XF)

But I'm always using those. The Cross was the new one.

(I just wanted my 100th post to be in this thread. 'Kthx.)
Breeze61
I'm using my grandmother's Sheaffer Vac-fil - from the 40s,I think. I don't have an exact ID on it, but when I get a few minutes I want to post a pic and have you penophiles tell me what it is. All my research has just left me MORE confused than ever (not that that is hard to do lately).
cellulophile
Tibaldi Trasparente, M/F Minuskin stub, Waterman BB/Black custom mix. Best,
