Happy Thursday! rolleyes.gif Today I'm using a Yard-o-led Retro BP with blue F Visconti gel refill, and a black Waterman Harmonie w/F nib filled with Waterman blue-black ink.

Lamy Safari with Noodlers BP Black and Cross Townsend with Noodlers Luxury Blue and MB Meisterstuck Ballpen (I know the word Ballpen is swearing, but I like it) lticaptd.gif
AlejoPlay
Waterman Kultur Demonstrator.

I think it's my most underrated pen. It's a bit of a hard starter (takes a stroke or two), but once it gets going it's lovely.
ruud2904
Quite an array of colors: 50's MB 144 (Noodler's Apache sunset), Wearever black/cream (Noodler's Marine Green), Lamy Vista (La,y blue), 1929 Sheaffer Sr Balance (MB blue), 70s MB 149 (MB Turqoise).

Today, I used my Bexley BX701 Cappuccino loaded with Noodler's FPN Galileo Manuscript Brown, my green Lamy Al-Star loaded with Noodler's Hunter Green, my lapis trustone pen loaded with Noodler's Luxury Blue, and my black Lamy Studio loaded with Noodler's Polar black. I'm liking this match-the-ink-to-the-pen bit. biggrin.gif

I'm really getting attached to a vintage Waterman's no. 5. It's hard to describe. I just... just keep writing with it.
fitzharry
My pen choices today consist of some of my Sheaffer Legacys: a Sheaffer Legacy in red lacquer and gold-finish cap with Noodler's Saguaro Wine ink, a Sheaffer Legacy 2 in palladium and gold-finish with Noodler's Navajo Turquoise ink, and another Sheaffer Legacy 2 in copper lacquer and gold-finish with Noodler's Kiowa Pecan ink.

Nothing but my favorite smooth-writing Inlaid Nib Sheaffers for today's writing duties!
cellulophile

-Esterbrook J Grey w/2668 ("Eggplant" mix- Diamine purple w/ Parker black)
-Reform Demo (Diamine blue-black cart)
-Lamy Vista Safari (Lamy blue cart)

I also have my two Borghini RB pens that take ink carts in use. These can be stored flat in my pen box as the point is pressurized. One has Diamine brown (great color!), and the other Diamine royal blue.

I just got a Diamine sample ink cart set over the holidays from The Writing Desk. So far, my favorite is the brown! I still have the red and the emerald to try!
Deirdre
Stipula 22 in grey with old-fashioned Titanium nib.

Additionally, I've filled a Platinum Preppy (which was absconded with) and defended my Aurora Ipsilon from further absconding.

I used my Carene all day today in classes, with a Waterman Black cartridge. I'm waiting for my new ink to arrive...then I can start mixing and using my converter.

I swear, the more I use this pen the more I love it....what a smooth writer.
bhassan
My Indian-made Parker Vector. Now that I examine it while writing, I notice that it is a little cosmetically rough around the edges, like a little plastic flashing left over from the molding of the barrel and cap. It could be fixed in ten seconds with a fine diamond file / fine sandpaper, but I think it adds character to the pen, and is a reminder of it's origins. Especially as it doesn't interfere with my ability to hold / write with the pen, and it writes superbly.

Filled with one of the three blue Quink cartridges that came with it.

I prefer to have a whole bunch of slightly cosmetically imperfect writers, rather than flawless museum pieces. It doesn't hurt as much if they get nicked or scratched in daily use (and this rarely ever happens, anyway).

Today we had the black striped Pilot MYU-701 and matching striped rollerball. Both attracted a fair amount of comment around the office.
Arthur
I started off the day using an MB Diplomat, which looks great and leeks bad so that has gone back in the box with a note to remind me what a leeky beast it can be. How is that the pen can be dried throroughly and then leak on your middle and index finger having written 4 words?

Back to my old faithfull of a Waterman Phileas.
jimg
At home writing a few things up.

Vintage Conway Stewart 100 with Duro 20 nib with Blue Quink and late 40s Aurora 88 with medium nib and ,well, Blue Quink!

So far, I like it a lot. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, though.

The one that I have is the evergreen, which is sort of an eye-searing lime. DH wanted to know what cartoon universe those trees came from. smile.gif

I used the pen I use daily, a Waterman Phileas. I acquired today, after rummaging through mountains of (in my opinion) useless calligraphy nibs at Michaels, a new pen-holder and nib assortment. Three of the five nibs are suitable for writing (I tossed the two calligraphy nibs), so it brings my total to four nibs and two holders. I've since bee experimenting with India ink.

Hi everyone,

Decided to jump aboard this topic.

I'm using my Pel M400 White Tortoise filled with PR Lake Placid Blue, Visconti Opera Club Cherry Blossom with a Mottishawed crisp stub/rounded cursive italic nib filled with Diamine B/B and, a Laban Mento...filled with BSB.
cellulophile
I've rediscovered my dark blue (Waterman) Carčne, which sports a nice F nib and is filled with a weird Sailor Blue-Black and Diamine Prussian Blue hybrid. Best,
David
naniwa46
I've inked up my Danitrio Cumlaude fine point in Blue with Stipula Deep Blue. Got
this pen from Kevin.
jonro
Today, I've been using a Parker 51 (aerometric, gray/green) with a fine nib filled with Private Reserve Lake Placid blue, an Esterbrook dip pen with a 9556 nib in a gray hockey puck base, and my Bexley Tenth Anniversary filled with Diamine Sapphire Blue.
naniwa46
Got my Danitrio Cumlaude in Blue filled with Lamy blue. Just got it back
from John Mottishaw for a bit of adjustment.
mturk
My usual Parker 51 aero (1949) XF with PR Sherwood for grading papers, and my 1977 MB149 EF (EEF maybe?) with Pelikan Brilliant Blackfor those pesky math problems.
kopio
Once again....my Carene. Yesterday I used my Phileas exclusively, but when I am taking notes, I like my Carene with the fine nib...I can write much smaller that way.
satrap
Well, yesterday I inked up amber shimmer Carene and my sterling LeMan 100 (black ends). Penman emerald in both. Belly nice.

I'm in a Wahl mood, with two Eversharp Skylines; a dark blue solid plastic in Standard size (filled with PR Tanzanite) and a gold-capped and brown Presentation Demi holding Waterman Brown. Both pens have what appear to be flexible or semi-flex nibs; I don't get as much line variation as with a Waterman 52, but way more than any of the Sheaffer pens I have.
skybird
As always a 1928 Parker Red Duofold and I have as my "guest pen" a 1940 Newhaven (English) Duofold in black and marble, senior sizes. In my drawer are my faithful burgandy Parker 61 and a battered black 51 aerometric.
LedZepGirl
Parker Super 21- my black ink pen.
Ghost Plane
For journaling, my Visconti Ultima Lira B nib with J. Herbin Brasil - gives a kind of antique look to the writing.
For working on my taxes, Amber Shimmer Carene loaded with Tanzanite
For general writing, Marlen Journal, pink [a color I wasn't sure I'd like, but the black streaks redeem it] in a BB nib, also using Herbin Brasil.
sdonahue
Well, today, my new Visonti Gold Pont with a Fine nib, a knockout of a pen, but I really would like extra fine; Lamy 2000 with Extra Fine nib, which, again, really isn't Extra Fine, and my Omas Orange and Blue Bologna fine point, which IS an actual fine point to me.
