I forgot my Pelikan 800 today and ended up using my Lamy 2000 with Caran d'Ache Carribiean Blue. Stupid thing started burping out the breather again! AAARRRGGG!
smarcus3
I currently use a LAMY vista daily for note taking and im looking to purchase a Pelikan M215 and a Waterman Phileas.
JayLo
Taccia Staccato Starry Night - F - PR Naples Blue (One of the smoothest nibs I own! Stock Iridium - nothing custom)
Lamy Safari - Black 1.1 Italic - PR Velvet Black
It's a good day!

Well, it's the Aurora Ipsilon F ... as usual, inked with Aurora blue. The Waterman Phileas with a juicy M nib is inked with Waterman blue.
Tagging along, in one of the outside pockents of my handbag, is a 'no name' brushed chrome, Japanese made (maybe by Sailor?) Sheaffer cartridge pen (M nib) inked with Noodlers La Couleur Royale.

Well, I'm using a Waterman Clip-Cap Eyedropper, patented in 1899 and 1903 apparently, no idea of the actual age. Has a toothy nib - reminds me of dip pens - and is slender and made of I think hard rubber. It writes with a Pilot Prera fine line, and seems to be semi-flex, but the flex isn't very easy to deploy.

I wonder if the fed might need reseating though.

I quite like it... the sort of writing instrument I can see an eccentric modern novelist writing with...

I haven't picked up a pen today, so I have the thrill of just "discovering" a treat...There are about two dozen pens in my pen caddys and I will just close my eyes and....

My latest aquisition (got it last Friday): A blue Sheaffer Imperial with F nib and my own sepia mix.
OldGriz
Today I am using three pens..
Lamy Vista filled with Parker Penman Ruby ink... smooth XF nib
Custom Made Bexley with a fine gold nib filled with a 50/50 mix of FPN brown and Pelikan Brown, very nice flow characteristics and still waterproof.
Danitrio Tamenuri Hanryo with fine nib filled with Visconti Burgundy... a nice match to that pen
HLeopold
Today I am using my brand, spanking new (for me) Sheaffer Legacy, black with gold cap with lined panels. Touch-down filler that works great. Won it on eBay and it was exactly as I had expected, a bit rough, one tip of the nib bent right at the very end, but that was easily fixed and it writes great now. A bit of cleaning and polishing, plus some wax and it looks brand new, writes pretty darned good as well, nice and smooth and fine. Right now I have it loaded with some Noodler’s Hunter’s Green, I had it on my desk when I opened the package and I really wanted to try it after straightening the nib.

Well I need a pen with red ink for work, so I filled my pink decimo F nib with PR Fiesta Red. Also Pel M250 clear demo with 0.6 mm CI filled with Pourssiere de Lune for fun smile.gif

Worked on my handwriting with my Waterman Expert earlier today, now I'm doing design sketches with a Paper-Mate felt-tip pen. They write wonderfully, but feel cheap in the hand. Why doesn't anyone (that I know of) make a high-end felt-tip pen? Oh well...

Today, I'm using a blue-stripe Pelikan M600 fine nib with PR Black Magic Blue and orange Pilot VP medium nib with Aurora Black for general notes and such. For mark-up (I'm doing some proposal review this week), I'm using a Lamy 2000 extra-fine nib with Diamine Orange. Grading's getting done with a purple (okay, Grape Cooler) Bexley Fun Time fine nib with Waterman Purple and a red & gold Pilot VP fine nib with Levenger Pinkly.

My Sesenta came from Japan late yesterday afternoon, and I put a Pilot blue black cartridge in it to try it out. It wrote immediately, a nice fine, blue black line, so I'll just keep using it today for my notetaking. Also have a bunch of pens inked with various PR Blue inks. Today I'm using the blue Carene, f nib, with PR American Blue, and the Taccia Bamboo (Ta-ke) in blue, m nib, with PR Tropical Blue.

I used my Montblanc Meisterstuck 145 rather extensively again today. So extensively that I had to fill it up, because I wrote it dry. LOL.

I'm beginning to notice that this is quickly becoming my everyday writer. It's so smooth to write with and such a charmer to look at. I think my CM Design pen might be heading for an early retirement.

i am thinking to get a picasso art collection pen. in orange colour.i think we talk about the same pen. can you tell me abou the quality of this pen. is it good or very good, thanks....

I have both ends of the spectrum covered today.

Esterbrook 101 with 9314F and Penman Ruby for edits

New Omas 2005 in Black with EF nib using black Omas ink for signing stuff.

A green Esterbrook LJ with 1555 nib. Inked with PR Spearmint. Nothing fancy, but it writes well and fits my hand.

Omas Paragon in Royal Blue. Lovely F nib that performs with the slightest of touch and produces a wet nice line. This is one of my favorite pens.
cygnoir
Today (well, yesterday, but I haven't been to bed yet) I used my white/tortoise Pelikan M400 with Visconti Black ink, and my green Visconti Van Gogh Midi with Private Reserve Avocado ink.

I bought the Visconti ink for the Visconti pen, but it's the only ink I have so far that's working well in my new Pelikan ...
Arthur
A Cross Chrome and Green with a medium nib and for finer work an early 50s "no namer" in maroon lacquer with gold bits, both use my own ink which is a blue black and scented with perfume from a close friend!
gregkoos
c1946 Parker Vacumatic, Azure Blue, nib re-worked by Deb Kinney. This is truly a business-like pen and great for the office.
dwmatteson
Yesterday I received a 1943 silver pearl Parker vacumatic standard with fine nib from SMG. Fills and writes like a dream. Needless to say, that's what I'm using today.
