But today and yesterday and probably many days to come, I used my Namiki VP M (Noodler's Purple Martin) and my Sapporo Slim Mini (Ahem! Taki - when you gonna get time to share that review?) loaded with PR Naples Blue.

I have to find the draft...probably in my work bag. Will find it tonight smile.gif

Today...Sailor Sapporo Mini with Sailor Blue and Orange Capless with Apache Sunset.

This morning I pulled out a couple of old favorites: My green Cross Solo F, and my Dani Trio Tac Carry II in black crosshatch pattern. Now I remember why I loved those pens, and love them all over again. I still say if the Tac Carry II had an F nib, I would be tempted to get rid of everything else. Dani Trio has a Classic available for $29, but an F nib is gold only, and $55 additional, bring the price to $84 plus shipping. Out of my range (but the, I'm cheap).

Today I am using my Yard-O-Lead Viceroy Barley finish FP, Medium NIB, with Watermans black ink. It writes on the finer side of medium and is a heavy pen, feels good in the hand.
rpscott123
Today I am using a Namiki Vanishing Nib pen. I just got this pen about 2 hours ago from Fountain Pen Hospital and I absolutly love it. I love the feel of the nib. It is very pliable which creates a pleasurable writing experience.

Today: Bic Select X-Pen

Hello everyone. It is a really pretty day and the dogs are frisky.
Still having some problems with my hands so I thought it would be a good day for ink mixing. So, dip pens are in order.

Good morning!

Today I'll be using my Sapporo Mini with Sailor Blue and a blue purse-size Esterbrook Dollar pen with 9128 nib(not so flexy but XF). I got the Estie from eBay, and a very kind friend restored it for me. It is filled with Pseudo New Old Bishop Street Blue (with apologies to HDoug...I used his recipe but substituted Upper Ganges Blue with Glacier Blue).

Update: I thinkmy mix still has a green cast from LL. Might need to get Upper Ganges Blue.

Normally, I use Pelikans and my VP at work, but today I feel like taking my wonderful Sheaffer Legacy Heritage, medium nib, filled with PR DC Supershow. This pen writes smoothly and has a solid feel and weight to it. The contrast of the black barrel with the palladium and gold cap is quite elegant. I think that this is one of the last pens made in the USA by Sheaffer before outsourcing. What a pity that we should lose one of our last great pen makers.
adair
Oh, no! Nib creep on my Sheaffer Legacy!
How?
It was standing upright while not in use.
Could it be an incompatible ink? I used to use only Quink, Skrip or Pelikan in the converter and never had a problem. Has anyone experienced nib creep with PR DC Supershow?
This Legacy Heritage is one of my all-time favorite pens---I hope that it can be saved!

Parker Vacumatic, Azure, c1946, currently filled with Blue Quink. It writes with a too-wet medium line and the nib goes dry too easily. The nib obviously needs adjustment. Yet this is still a great feeling pen, good balance and great color.
Richard
So new (to me, at last) is this wet-noodle Waterman's Ideal No. 42 that it's not yet in my collection pages. But it's in the Piquadro (along with THE "51", of course).

This glorious pen came from the auction at the NY/NJ Pen Show this past weekend. Is it perfect? Nope. Do I care? Nope.
Taki
Same pens as yesterday, but I changed the nib on my Estie to smooth 9550 extra fine nib.
pakmanpony
Today at work my Conklin BCHR crescent filler 3NL fine flex #2 nib with Levengers Cobalt ink (thanks DocNib!)
Also my Sheaffer Balance II Cobalt Glow with Parker Penman Sapphire with new med nib (thanks Cory)
And my brand new from the Dallas pen show Parker 51 Teal with Gold Cap (thanks Corby) filled with Caran d'Ache Caribbean Sea (thanks Sam)!!

Sitting in my new pen frog, which I purchased last weekend at the Dallas Pen Show, are my green Duke Carbon Fibre M with Pelikan green ink, my green Pilot 78G F with the same ink, my black Pilot 78G F with Hero blue, my Black Parker 45 with Susan Wirth XF nib, and Hero blue, and my Yi Cheng Young Engineer XXF with Noodler's la Coleur Royale. I use the two green-ink pens for financial data (the M for headings, the F for data) and the other three for other various documents.

This week was German pen week...

Lamy Studio, fine.
Pelikan M200, stub, both with Pelikan blue/black
Blacksheep95
Sheaffer Imperial at one desk, Waterman Phileas at the other. Lamy Safari on the job site.

Just got a red Parker 45 with a B nib from Richard Binder. Inked it up with Diamine Monaco Red and wrote big. Pretty nice, even legible--for me. Working on a manuscript with that pen and ink combo made rereading easy, but for letters today I used my Namiki Falcon, M nib, with a Namiki Blue Black cartridge. Some of my pen pals prefer looking at tame, dignified inks.
pakmanpony
Today it's been my (new from the Dallas pen show) Teal Parker 51 Aero fine with Caran d'Ache Carib Blue and my Lamy 2000 with Diamine Med Blue
cellulophile
Today, a black M215 with Binder 14K F and Sailor Blue Black, as well as a Royal Blue OMAS Paragon with Sailor Blue. Nice... Best,

Dear Pen Nut
You have such a clever ikon-y thing-y!

I have been using my two Danitrios both with a stub nib:

Mikado with a home made mixture: 2 parts Herbin Olive verte : 1 part Herbin Lie de Thé (Not a fabulous colour, but it matches a rubber stamp ink and I have been using it for envelopes.)

And The Densho with PR Chocolate
gregkoos
Green Esterbrook, with medium general wrtitting nib, blue Quink. This is one of the nicer nibs of the Esterbrrok line up. Very smooth feel to the pen, all-in-all everything you would want from a fountain pen.
funzoneplanet
Today I'm going to use my Acme LE Elvis pen converted into a fountain pen.
Gojira
Cheap pen day since I had to go out into the field:

Hero 329 and Sheaffer Award (medium) filled with Black Quink
Sheaffer Imperial filled with Pelikan Royal Blue
Taki
My blue purse size Estie dollar pen sporting 9550 nib, filled with a mix of PR Midnight Blues and Waterman Florida Blue.

Parker 51 Teal/gold cap fine nib with Caran d'Ache Carib Blue

Today I am using my Wality 70D F eyedropper, and my Reform Kalligraph F, both with Noodlers la Coleur Royale. I brought in the Kalligraph because a coworker was interested in purchasing one, and wanted to try one first. It sat in my pen cabinet for two months, still inked, and wrote first time without skipping. And she wonders why I won't sell her mine!! roflmho.gif

Today's pen lineup includes:

Pelikan m800 filled with NI Black. I've been using Aurora Black a lot lately. Decided to mix it up.
Waterman Liaison filled with Florida Blue. The Liaison is one of my few pens with a medium nib (most of the others are fine).
Visconti Van Gogh maxi (musk green) filled with PR Avocado Green
