Greetings from the Valley of the Sun, where the temperature, not yet near its high for the day, is a brisk 95 degrees.
My purple Kultur, as well as my daughter's Lamy Smile and Online pens, have been emptied and cleaned out. This leaves the Royal Violet Carene, the MB146 and my Enzo Varini.
The EV gets the most use these days, because I can carry it around with me worry-free. As of yet, no one has commented on my use of a fountain pen in public; people are either too apathetic to notice, or they're thinking, "Is that some sort of insect that bleeds onto paper? How disgusting. I hope she finishes and leaves soon."

My Parker 51 Flighter & Montblanc gained prominence today. I had to refill my flighter in fact, because it ran out of ink. I'm going to have to buy a new bottle soon.

A Blue Marbled Waterman rollerball I picked up at the Michigan Pen Show. Not sure yet what model this is (I should have asked the seller). It's definitely not a Phileas or Kultur. Appears to be laque over metal. A nice pen.

A day off today, will be using Prilot Prera with Noodler's Concord Bream. Beautiful color but it has to be used with better paper or it feathers.

Today seems to be a Hero day. Yesterday I received a Hero 329 in the mail from a sympathetic FPN member who saw my post sometime back about I could not buy any more pens, and sent me a 329 he had inked and did not care for, and would not even give me a figure to repay postage. Such is the nature of people on this forum. I also am using my Hero 616 and my Hero 100 Flighter.

a near as mint can be BCHR Conway Stewart 540 with shallow domed top... absolutely tiny FP that writes with a lovely VERY fine line... and a bit of flex... I normally hate posting but tis one is far too small for me to use un-posted
unlike a lot of little tiny pens the 540 looks exactly like a normal full sized turn of the 20th C BCHR FP... only a TINY 90mm

Good morning all!
Omas Paragon '05 w/ HT trim, XF nib - PR Lake Placid Blue
Sheaffer Sterling Silver Victorian Legacy Heritage, M nib - Noodlers FPN LE Galileo Brown
Pelikan M400, Red Binde, F nib - Noodler's Ottoman Azure
Pilot VP, Raden, F nib - Waterman Florida Blue
I ended up with 4 pens today, since the Paragon is too big to fit in my pen case.
The Victorian is the first pen I've found which matches perfectly with the Galileo Brown, since both appear faux vintage.
Lake Placid Blue is basically a more saturated WFB, lovely ink.

I recently decided that in order to make finding a particular date in my journal easy to find, I would put the date at the top of each page (whether or not it was a new entry) and alternate ink colors for each day (but not necessarily each entry in multiple entries for a particular day). The system works and makes finding a particular day much easier. But it also makes me alternate pens. Today's journaling pen is Pelikan M605 with my mix of Noodler's bulletproofs, New Old Bishop Street Blue-Black, (yesterday was a Grand Place -- Noodler's Swishmix Burgundy), and my office-carry will be my VP Kasuri black with the same blue-black mix.
Weather-wise, another glorious Honolulu day -- my room thermometer reads 78 but it's probably hotter downstairs. A few clouds. Hope that won't obscure this morning's performance of the Thunderbirds.

I've torn through eight pages of my journal with my new Lamy Studio, XF nib, Lamy's own violet ink cartridge. Wow do I love this pen. I need three more like it, just to keep up with my ink colors... It's putting my Pilot VP (the pen I use for work) to shame.

ok well I just barely started a fountain pen collection. My very first fp was purchased on Sept. 4, 2007. So far I only have 3 fountain pens, and actively use them all everyday (at least for now as my collection is extremely small). Below is the list of fp's currently in use today, in the order that I received them:
1. MonteVerde Regatta (blue/yellow with chrome accents)
2. Sensa Meridian (black with chrome accents)
3. Acme Limited Edition (number 712 out of 1935) Elvis "On Stage" pen (roller ball) that I converted to a fountain pen using an Acme fp converter kit.

This morning, I've been using my Danitrio Densho raw ebonite, firm fine nib, with Sailor Jentle Gray. I'll also be doing some note-taking with a yellow Danitrio Tac Carry II, medium Kinney stub nib, with Sheaffer Skrip Blue-Black.
I'll be doing some grading later, so I'll be pulling out the charcoal Lamy Safari, extra fine nib, with Levenger Pinkly and the Haolilai 801F, medium nib, with Diamine Orange.

Montblanc Meisterstuck 145 Chopin wth F nib. Diary-entry.
Using up ink ridiculously fast. Only refilled it last night. Already at least 1/5 empty.
Campo Marzio Minny with F nib. University work.
Swirled it around several hundred times on a piece of paper to smooth out the nib. Now writing in near as-new condition (ie - nice & smooth). I am now reminded why I bought this pen in the first place!! Yay!

My goodness, are we trying to set a record for the longest thread in history here? Haha.
Today's main pen is the same pen as every other day:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shuttersparks/1399218681/1950's Sheaffer school pen, medium 305 nib, eyedropper filled with Noodlers Bulletproof Black.
The link above will lead to several other photos of my collection of "used every day" pens, but the one in the photo above is what you'll find in my hand almost all of the time. Writes smooth, never fails, never skips, never misbehaves in any way.
