Today is black on black. I'm using a black Pelikan m800 and a black Sheaffer Balance (full size circa 1939). Both filled with Aurora Black ink.

Gonna be in the high 90s again today with no rain on the radar.
Don't know how much writing I am going to do but I plan to keep to the M800s today.

I've gotten myself into the habit of rotating my pens these days. If I stick to one, it grows on me, and the others get neglected. Tomorrow, I shall be using my P.51 Flighter.

Also using a new acquisition - a Lady Duofold in Green & Pearl - also with Quink, which seems safe for vintage pens.

My pen of choice for today was my palladium-finished Sheaffer Legacy 2 with Noodler's Navajo Turquoise ink--it's a great journal writer: very smooth on the paper. I also had my Waterman Edson Diamond Black with Waterman South Sea Blue ink for notetaking.

Worked extra shift last night. Started out with Sailor but switched to Vivid Pink Prera filled with PR Midnight Blues...was busy and I didn't want to drop Sailor.

Will be using the Sailor today for journaling.

As far as pens for the day I just do not know. I know I will use at least one but your guess is as good as mine.

Started raining in Boston last night and hasn't stopped. We need the rain, but I dislike being out in it about as much as most cats do. Pens today are Pilot 823 with the ink that accompanied the pen, Bexley Americana with PR Lake Placid Blue, Dani Trio Miwaku with Herbin Lie de Thé.

Using the Sheaffer Feathertouch with Polar Black for everything - journal, checkbook, grocery list.

Today it is Visconti day:Musk green with Herbin's Vert Olive and Tortoishell Demonstrator with Noodlers Kiowa Pecan.

Conklin Tiger-Eye plastic, I can't remember the model name. I bought it for curb-appeal. It has a fine point which started scratchy but is getting better. Noodler's Zhivago is the current ink in it - which I think has improved the pen's utility as well.

Today I am using my new P 21 Desk Set from eBay. I actually swapped out the section etc from my exiting 21 with the one which came with the set, as the one with the set is extremely scratchy. I'll look at it tonight when I get home. Maybe could use a flush with soapy water, which I uncharacteristically did not do this time. Also using my Pilot 2A, and have my usual bevy of carries at the ready, should the need arise (P 51, Reform Calligraph, Pel M200, Hero 100 & 616, Tac Carry II, Wality 70D, Charles Hubert-Paris, Phileas F, Montblanc Ersatz, P 45 FP & GP (GP in case I need to sign something for which a (gasp) fountain pen is not suitable.)

This week, it's a lovely brown celluloid Wing Sung 237 with a conical nib. I know it's a feature they probably stole from Sheaffer, but I'm enjoying it none the less. It's loaded with Private Reserve Chocolat. Mmmmm.

PS It's 95 degrees here, but not humid, so it could be worse.

Sailor 1911 medium with blue black ink (?) just back from the factory. I traded a friend for this pen, and was having trouble with the ink flow. Sailor gave me a new nib, cleaned it, and sent it back with two cartridges. Not my favorite pen, but dynamite service from Sailor.

It's hot and muggy here in Toronto and I am using a Flighter Parker 75 and Noodler's Blue on the Plains of Abraham.

Three pen-dealer special pens it turns out. Didn't even realize it until I was talking to Alriel this evening.

Oh happy day! I am using my new Platinum 3776 Koi pen with fine nib that came yesterday. Thanks Taizo for anwsering my dream.
Accompanying it are a green marble Aurora Optima, a blue Filcao Libra, and ablack Marlen Basilea.

Today I'm using my Bexley Deluxe II and Parker 51 Vac, both fine nibbed, both filled with Aurora Black. In addition I'm using my Lamy 2000 with medium nib and Private Reserve Midnight Blues (prettiest blue-black IMO).

Will ink up the Dove Gray 51 Vac tonight and test it out (freshly restored)
And practice flex writing with my Lapis Blue Wahl Gold Seal tonight
Journal tonight will be with my Gold Celese Parker 75 and Noodlers Legal Lapis

It says Pilot Crystal FS on the sticker. Just got it yesterday from speerbob in Thailand (a replacement, the first one had a bad nib). It is GREAT!!!! I will do a review later today, hopefully. Clear demonstrater, squeeze converter, semiflex Asian fine nib. If this is the same nib as the 78G I will be in heaven when the two I ordered from Todd at isellpens.com arrive.

After losing 3 pens in one fell swoop a few weeks ago (sigh), I treated myself to a long-wished-for pen: the Delta DolceVita mini...it arrived a few minutes ago and I have it inked with PR Orange Crush (beautiful!).

Today so far it's been my piston fill (integral converter) Nebula CS100 with IF nib tweaked by Deb Kinney, inked with Diamine Tropical Blue; a blue Sheaffer TouchDown Imperial IV inked with Noodlers/Swishers Aquamarine Contract Ink, and a KawecoSport blue ice eyedropper filled with Diamine Presidential Blue.

My Montblanc Meisterstuck 145 saw a lot of use today. It was used for notes, diary-entries, and was used to pen down two letters (which I shall send tomorrow), to my local library, regarding the quality...or LACK THEREOF...of their products...

I wrote the Pelikan M205 dry yesterday, so I've inked up my Lamy 2000 fine nib with Sailor Jentle Blue and I'll be toting that around today. I'll also have in my pocket case a black Sheaffer PFM III fine nib with Sheaffer Skrip Blue-Black.

The three-pen case that lives in my bag will contain the FPN LE medium steel Minuskin stub nib with Noodler's Apache Sunset, yellow Sailor 1911 fine-medium nib with Aurora Black, and a dove gray Parker "51" special fine nib with Noodler's Eternal Black.

Just received and inked up my new Bexley BX701 with 18k fine nib. I got the one with the brown and blue pattern and filled it with PR Chocolat. Not a perfect match, but close enough. Wrote my first letter with it. Typical Bexley good writer. Looks different from my other Bexleys though.

Also using my Pilot 823 and my Dani Trio Ban-ei today. The 823 has the Pilot Black ink in it that came with it. The Ban-ei has PR Tropical Blue. Got a bunch of ink from James P. yesterday, and filled a couple of pens (a Platinum Briar, m nib, and a Pilot Custom 74, soft m nib) with Diamine Umber and Diamine Woodland Green. Tried them out last night and will probably write them today as well. Lots of writing to do. Time to finish a manuscript and carry on with the rewrite of another.

Don’t know, but I just decided to go on vacation this morning, boss was reasonable and so for the next week I am free to get lost as I please. So today I have been carrying around my Pelikan 400NN and my black Sheaffer over size lever filler Balance. Black Noodler’s in the first and Noodler’s Blue in the second.
