Sounds like you are having fun! Must need a little adjustment when changing from Prera to Ban-ei
I know it takes time, but would you consider posting a writing sample of PR Tropical Blue? I have Diamine Tropical Blue that I love, and really curious about PR version.

BTW, Taki, I've revised my opinion on the relative line thickness of the Prera F and Sapporo F. With Polar black, Sapporo seemed wider. But with Brown Skrip, they write about the same line thickness...

When I left for work today I had two pens in my shirt pocket: my Waterman Edson Diamond Black with Waterman South Sea Blue ink, and my Bexley Poseidon Tortoise with Noodler's Kiowa Pecan ink. Both pens are glass smooth when it comes to writing.
I started off the day using a Sheaffer Balance 1000, filled with Ni Black. But, then the mail arrived with a shiny new (to me) copper-colored transitional Esterbrook J. I filled it with Levenger Cocoa and I've been writing with that since then.

My fountain pen of choice today was a Sheaffer Legacy 2 in smooth palladium finish, Touchdown filling system, and of course the 18kt gold inlaid nib. It's filled with Noodler's Navajo Turquoise ink, and lays down a very wet medium line.
