I have a vacuum filler...my first one... and I had questions. If anyone can point to particular anatomical peculiarities of these early vacumatics, I'd be obliged. In particular, my first inspections have me wondering if the section is integral to the pen. The nib and feed appear to be fitted into a collar inside the section as well.

Wisdom and/or experience would be appreciated. smile.gif

The section and barrel indeed are one piece. Please do not attempt to remove the section.

Had a brief conversation with Ron Zorn in the repair forum...don't worry, I didn't destroy it. Application of eyeballs to pen yielded good results.
